GREENWOOD TROPHY CLUBMAN, TWINSHOCK & Pre-65 TRIAL

 

 

ANNOUNCEMENT:  The Huddersfield Falcon Motorcycle Club will promote an ACU YORKSHIRE CENTRE TRIAL for Adult & Youth Solo Motorcycles on SUNDAY 21ST. FEBRUARY 2010.

 

JURISDICTION:  The event will be run under the National Sporting Code, Appendices and Trials Supplementary Regulations of the Auto-Cycle Union, and Yorkshire Centre ACU, under the following Supplementary Regulations.

 

ELIGIBILITY:  Open to all club members of the Yorkshire Centre ACU –  Adult Novice, Twinshock, Pre-65,

                                                                                                                     or Youth A, B & C.

 

START / VENUE:  11.00am Nethermoor Farm, Crosland Moor, Huddersfield (Grid Ref: 110/ 121135)

ACU STEWARD: 

 

AWARDS:  The GREENWOOD TROPHY* + Replica Award + £20.00 cash for overall BEST PERFORMANCE

                      * (to be held for one year)

1st, 2nd, 3rd in each Class on either course (subject to at least 3 entries in each class) = £15.00, £12.00, £10.00

 

Plus Awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in Youth Class on either Course (subject to at least 3 entries in each class)

 

COURSE:  will be decided on the day, but likely to be 3 LAPS of FIFTEEN SECTIONS.

There will be 2 courses to choose from – CLUBMAN* or CLUBMAN EASY*

*NB.  A Clubman is defined as any Adult Novice or Beginner rider on a “modern” bike.

ROADWORK WILL NOT BE INVOLVED.

 

MARKING:  will be to FIM Rule TSR 22/B (No-Stop Rule)

                    Ties will be decided by ACU Rules (most cleans, ones etc.)

 

ENTRIES:  POSTAL (or e-mail)* ENTRIES to be made on the form overleaf and sent to the Trial Secretary at the address shown to arrive NO LATER THAN 12.00 NOON ON SATURDAY 20th. February.

*e-mailed entry forms will have to be countersigned at signing-on.

Note: a full refund will be given for a cancelled entry providing notice is given by 9.00pm on day before the trial.

 Entry declaration:   I, the undersigned, apply to enter the event described above and in consideration thereof:-

  • I hereby declare that I have had the opportunity to read, and that I understand the National Sporting Code of the ACU, the ACU Standing Regulations, such Supplementary Regulations as have or may be issued for the event, and agree to be bound by them.
  • I further declare that I am physically and mentally fit to take part in the event and I am competent to do so.
  • I confirm that I understand the nature and type of event I am entering and its inherent risks and agree to accept the same notwithstanding that such risks may involve negligence on the part of the organisers or officials.
  • I confirm that the machine(s) as described below which I compete on shall be suitable and proper for the purpose.
  • I confirm that if any part of the event takes place on a public highway, the machine(s) described below shall be insured as required by the Road Traffic Acts, or equivalent legislation, and that it/they will comply with the regulations in respect thereof.
  • I agree that I am required to register my arrival by “signing on” at the designated place not less than 30 minutes prior to commencement of my practice or first competition, whichever occurs first.     

Acknowledgement of the risks of motorsport: 
I understand that by taking part in this event I am exposed to a risk of death, becoming permanently disabled or suffering some other serious injury and I acknowledge that even in the event that negligence on the part of the ACU, the promoter, the organising club, the venue owner, or any individual carrying out duties on their behalf were to be a contributory cause of any serious injury I  may suffer, the dominant cause of any serious injury will always be my voluntary decision to take part in a high risk activity.
